The Netherlands, sometimes also called Holland is a very small highly populated country.
Living in the Netherlands
The dutch are in general very friendly, you will find that the majority can or will speak english. This is very convenient but sometimes difficult because you will never learn the language if everybody speaks in english to you. Most dutch can speak 2 or more languages.
Because Holland is such a small country the houses are also very small. Finding a house to rent can be very difficult and expensive.
